El medio ambiente fuera del agua expone a la fisiología humana a una amplia gama de temperaturas, y en consecuencia, la naturaleza equipa al cuerpo humano con mecanismos para el mantenimiento de la misma en torno a los 37 ºC considerados como la temperatura idónea para nuestro cuerpo.
