PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

The ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER course is considered as a continuation of learning about diving, so you can do it only if you obtain your Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent level of any other organization.

This qualification enables you to make a little more complicated dives, to go deeper, to enjoy in wrecks, to make night dives and a long etc., developing the necessary  skills to be an "Advanced Diver".

MASTER SCUBA DIVER

Imagine that you begin to do Judo, Karate or any other martial art. Once you start and see that you're passionate about it, your goal is to become a black belt, right? Well you must know that the Master Scuba Diver Level is the BLACK BELT of DIVING.

If you are passionate about diving and want to know a lot about this sport, you should aspire to achieve this status.

If you come to dive or to do any diving course, the Centro Escuela de Buceo Mojacar will manage the accommodation for you so you don't have to worry about anything.

The Indalo hotel rooms have terrace with sea views, full fitted bathroom, TV, air conditioning and heating. Optional Safety box. It has bars, buffet restaurant with "show cooking" (which offers national and international food). PLAYA HOTELS****

The Centro Escuela de Buceo Mojacar is located in next to the Mojacar highway. Leaving from Garrucha, as soon as you pass the Best Mojacar, Oasis Tropical and Marina Playa hotels, you'll cross the "RIO AGUAS" bridge, which is next to "MUEBLES AZNAR". At the end of the bridge, there is a round, from which you are able to see our installations. The address is “La Mata” street, nº1, Local 1.

The center has been created by divers and for divers, so you'll find our installations very comfortable, as they've been exclusively designed for you.

There is can find a humid area in our installations with a great terrace where you can prepare   the material for the dive, rinse the equipment, have a shower… In addition to, there are soft-drinks so you can have a break meanwhile you fill in your logbook and talk with your mates.

Moreover, in case someone needs anything before the diving, we have a diving shop, to buy equipment, or complements to personalize yours. 

There is a changing room and showers with warm water, where you can also leave your personal equipment until your next dive.

                                                                                   
The CEBM has 30 rectreative diving equipments at your complete disposal, MARES and AQUALUNG brands, besides other 5 tec and 4 Sidemount diving equipments for divers from these modalities.

If there is any problem with your personal equipment, we offer technical service in our wonderful workshop. Customers can also rent cylinders or fill their own here, with air, as well as nitrox and trimix possibilities for the ones who demand it.
 
Furthermore, we also have photography and video equipment to offer the best range of memories from your unforgettable dives with us… And an equipped classroom to receive the best formation at any level… Yes, any level. From initiation to instructor courses!        
 
Related to shipping, we have 2 semi-rigid boats of great power, with capacity to transport until 30 divers per dive, besides a van that help us moving all the equipments to the boarding point.

PADI GAS BLENDER COURSE

In this course, you will learn the physical properties of oxygen and its associated hazards, the methods to handle and what equipment it is necessary for its cleaning.

Finally, you will learn the five methods to obtain the desired nitrox air mixture and the various methods to obtain the appropriate helium mixture.

The professional staff from Centro Escuela Buceo Mojacar is managed by Pedro Navarro Madrid (PADI Course Director).

Along with him, Tony (Master Instructor), Pepe, Alberto, Patricia, Toño, Chus (all MSDT) and Jaime. Together, with their experience and professionalism will make you enjoy the diving  with the highest security in the clean waters of Almería (Andalucía), one of the dive sites with the most growth from the spanish mediterranean. We will contribute to show you our precious sea but always appreciating and respecting the marine ecosystem.

ABOUT US

Pedro Navarro Madrid. (PADI Platinium Course Director - Trimix Trainer, Specialty Instructor Trainer - EFR Trainer - DSAT TEC Trainer)Ex-Diver from the militar elite (Combat Divers Special Unit, CBA). He abandoned the Army to dedicate to what he loved the most, teaching people how to dive. For this reason, he decided to set this dive school where there were not anyone yet, in Mojacar, next to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, in 1996.
He accumulates in his gills thousands of immersions under these waters, all of them with a rigorous and exhaustive security control over the uncountable groups of people who have been here diving with us.
Pedro is instructor from the best teaching organizations of diving (PADI, TDI, FEDAS, ACUC, SSI, NASE). Nowadays, he is instructor of instructors PADI, which makes of our dive center a referent talking about dive training at any level, from initiation to instructor.

Tony Navarro Madrid. (PADI Master Instructor, IDC STAFF Instructor, DSAT  TEC DEEP Instructor, Master Scuba Diver Trainer- Specialty Instructor - EFR Instructor),He graduated
in Geologic Sciences with the specialty of hidrogeology and also in informatic engineering. Tony loves doing underwater photography and videography. He works training divers from all levels, as much in recreational as in technical diving. He also guides experimented divers and does supervision of groups of divers.
Besides, he is in charge of the managing software development for the diving centers “GESTISUB” and also of the web pages of the center, the online dive shop "www.tiendabuceo.net". As Pedro, Tony also accumulates thousands of immersions under these waters… He is the second aboard this 5* PADI IDC.

Juan Carlos Tietz. (PADI DiveMaster) Our experienced german Dive master, with over thousand dives. Assists  the divers instruction all levels, such as underwater activities supervision. Additionally,  he is the perfect immersion guide. "JC" is the manager for the british and german market in Mojacar and is also in charge of the diving material maintenance workshop. 

Jaime Álvaro Moreno. (PADI Specialty Instructor and EFR Instructor)  He is our webmaster and tech. Currently, he is in charge of the center web pages, and so as of the online shop. He works training divers from all levels in FunnyDive Madrid diving center and here in Mojacar, also collaborates in the immersions.

Sofia. Our smile of every morning and multilingual speaker in charge of the dive center’s reception. She will welcome and help you with all the administrative processes, so you only will have to worry about enjoying your dives or courses with us.
